I met him (no more than "Hi") at Sammy Millers. He had his flying Millyard there - it's enormous in the flesh! and a couple of his 5 cylinder Kawasaki 2 strokes.

I think he makes a trip there once or twice a year with a couple of bikes to show.

I'm mind blown that he cuts crankcases by hand with a hacksaw - I can't cut a piece of two-by-two straight by hand and will get a chop saw out :-)

I was at the Stafford Classic Bike show about 15 years ago when he brought along his V12 Z2300 & started it up outside in the paddock. It sounded like a small block Lamborghini B) I understand that it now resides in the Barber Museum along with his V8 Z1600 & a few other of his creations. I also saw him again last year when he was guest of honour at the Stafford Classic Bike show. Out of all his creations my favourite of his is the little 100cc V-twin made from two Honda SS50 engines for it's purity & cuteness.
