Have you added to your bike fleet since you last posted? I don’t remember there being so many! I’d like to see what’s new.
Is that Spectre 1100 the one with a gold painted engine? I guess they’re quite a rarety now.

No I haven't added any since I built that 750 twin into a trike. A few months back I passed on a 750 four just because I'd have no place to park it.
Yes the 1100 is a Spectre, gold engine, black chrome exhaust and less than 10K on the clock. Despite the fact that it was the most powerful KZ four, I haven't done anything with it because it has a terrible riding position. With that scooped out seat and those buckhorn bars I feel like I'm on a child's bike. The wife want's me to sell it off but I keep thinking that I could swap out the seat and change the bars so that I could actually ride it.

Oops, I missed one. I picked up this Gold Wing, didn't realize it wasn't on the list. It's an 1100, 81. I think. A friend told me about it and I said I wasn't interested, that was until I saw that is was a naked wing. With 26 K on the clock it's just broke in.

Thanks Bill. Your Spectre is amazing. It looks to be totally original. I do like the paint scheme and tank shape on this model, but can see that the riding position isn’t ideal for a bike with such power.
That Gold Wing is very handsome as a naked bike. It looks classy in black.
All those great bikes, Bill - do they get used equally or is there a favourite?

What’s your KZ550 like to ride Bill? How does it compare to a CB550, assuming you’ve ridden one of those? Is your KZ all original?
