Hi Mark, I used a Sard FPR, they're pricey but very good quality. You could try a cheaper generic one but I can't vouch for their quality. If you do decide to go the Sard route buy one from a reputable source as there are loads of knock offs on Ebay (hence them being listed cheaply on there).

Thanks Phil,
Gauge arrived today and I've plugged it in between fuel rail and pump.
It shows 36psi when priming before starting engine and 30psi with engine started and stays at 30psi whatever the revs.
The only rising rate fpr's I can find using Google are in Australia.
Did you source yours in the UK?
Is it worth taking the original FPR off and trying to clean, do they stick like the tank return valve?
Appreciate the help so far.
Thanks Mark.

Ah, just taken fuel filter out and its completely full of sludge.
Just ordered a new one, so will see what pressure is like once fitted.

Yes I sourced mine in the UK about 13 years ago, I'll have a look through old paperwork to see where I bought it. You may well have to replace the fuel lines as well, mine was laid up for only 5 years & started occasionally but there was congealed fuel in the lines, modern ethanol fuels are crap for that. Also run some fuel system cleaner through after changing the lines. Change the fuel filter then go from there, see if the fuel pressure gets to acceptable parameters.

Just had a look back through old paperwork & I can't find the original receipt, I found the instructions that came with it though. Try somewhere like japwestmods.co.uk/shop/electronics-after...ssure-regulator-fpr/ or just do a Google search for SARD stockists UK, or you could always use another known make, there may well be better, cheaper options out there now since I fitted the SARD one 13 years ago.
