Hi guys,

It may sound like a weird question….
I Have a 1984 Voyager, rear wheel on it is 16
I know the KZ rear wheel is 17
From the little bit of research I have done I see that the drive shaft is the same on both
Also the hub outside cover is the same
I assume that I can change my rear wheel from 16 to 17
I know I will need few additional parts to complete this conversion
My question is, did anyone here ever done something like that and if it even worth all the time and money?
As I know myself, I will hardly ride the bike and I couple years will re-visit the rear wheel / swingarm and spend more time and money and go for 180
I may have answered my question
Anyway, any feedback will be appreciated

This doesn't answer your question but I can tell you that the rear wheel on my 01 Vulcan will interchange with the rear wheel on a number of other models and years in the 1500 family even ones with different rim sizes. The point being, it not uncommon for Kawi to use the same 'size' hub on different models.
