As far as modifications on an old bike, sky is the limit as long as the VIN number stays and it passes safety inspection.

If you go for the muffler delete option you may have some hassles with safety inspection. But lunch or a 12 pack of beer will get you passed most places. My wife’s car is the only one in the house with a muffler...

This is NOT the correct orientation for this slave. Bleeder port (internally) is below the top of the slave piston, trapping air.



This is the correct orientation. All air can be bled from the slave as the bleeder port is at the top of the piston.

Thank you. I haven't gotten to addressing this yet. I did check and bled it just a tiny bit before riding, and it was all good. But I will turn it later clockwise. In this case I think the bleeding nipple will be facing towards the rear of the bike.
