In this case I just need to get them out. I'm saving the engine but ditching the frame. Don't have room for it all so I am stripping it of anything useful and recycling the metal.

After reading that thread it sounds like even more of a nightmare to get the swingarm off. I'll try a bigger boxed end wrench or a lever on the bolts. To keep the driveshaft from turning I used a second wrench, put in on the next bolt and rotated it so it jams up against the frame while I try to turn the first bolt. I can get enough pressure to almost upset the bike without the shaft turning.

I finally got them off by using a 2 ft piece of square stock over the wrench. I still had to come aboard it pretty hard. The last two bolts were very tricky. I had to use one wrench to hold the shaft so it wouldn't move so loosening one bolt tightened the other. It was a balancing act to get them both loose enough so the wrench wouldn't turn the shaft. Once that initial break was down I could just use the wrenches.
