I wont buy anything from China or HK that costs over $10 and refuse to deal with AliBaba at all. Ali express is an outlet for the seconds from the chinese factories and they are only allowed to sell to the western world not to anybody within China.

I purchased from superb Company that I been using for most of my parts for several rebuild Kwakers

ZPower in the UK

First time I had a problem purchased them as part of larger order

Just purchased a used head from breakers use as donor

The pain is I have sorted all the threads and studs on this head and it is straight as a die

So will try again

The engine not run for 25 years and several of the valves were bent due to faulty tensioner I think
Rods are okay

I will keep you up to date

So at the very LEAST, You should have a conversation with Z Power about the problem. They may have picked up a bad run of valves and they should come good for this. They don't need nor want your bad publicity, and I'm sure they will make this right for you. Remember they're just the supplier and they rely on the manufacturing plant's Quality Assurance program to catch these flaws before leaving the plant. Quite often, QA departments only check 1 out of 100 parts for quality and if they find a flaw, will pull the last 100 parts to inspect. Shit happens and it's unfortunate it happened to you here. I'm sure that when you inform Z power of the problem, they will be just as pissed as you are. Their reputation rides on the quality of the product that they sell. If they don't come good for this problem then please share the result with the rest of us. Nobody needs to be dealing with lousy suppliers trying to sell shit. Any supplier who wants to stay in business will source better suppliers when they have issues with current suppliers.

Sorry for your bad luck here and hope this works itself out. keep us in the loop please.
