Is there much to be gained from degree-ing the camshafts, which, as I understand it, means optimising the cam timing? I'd be interested to know if any of you have done this.

cant be done as the sprockets are part of the camshaft and cannot be moved.

you could machine them into a flange to take a GPZ sprocket, not sure if they are the same size.
hell of a lot of work.

I took a gamble and ordered a pair of CRF 450R camshaft sprockets to make this mod. They are 36 tooth sprockets and I believe the chain size is the same as our KZ1300's. We'll see when they get here. I've been shopping for these gears but no one is producing them for our bikes since the stock camshafts don't have a flanged cam gear.
