I haven't had the time to pursue the 1300 like I wanted to, It's been gone thru with all new wearable parts from the front to the drive shaft and that's where I
stopped. have the rear brake master done and only need to replace pads and tire,But on a touring that's a lot of work to get to.
my wife likes checking out estate sales and on Saturday she called and said: there is a kawasaki for sale at a local auction. I left and joined her and to my surprise
found a "79" KZ 1000 shaft drive in excellent condition in the garage. Bike had recently been serviced and rested on a new set of avons with23000 showing on the odometer. A few inquiries brought the son out who explained that his Dad was very protective of the bike and only occasionally rode it. Bidding started and eventually
I was sole bidder at 2100.00 Paper exchanged hands and I'm now the proud owner of this beast, This bike is a treat to ride!!! pictures will follow, Greg
