I too am concerned about the relaxing of the basic "rules". The reference made with respect to what could possably happen in Wuhan, is a valid concern. If there is a second reoccurrence it could very likely be worse then the first due to this virus's (little) understood ability to mutate - as most of this type of virus is famous for.
With Easter on our door step the warnings now are being directed specifically to ALL religious groups to NOT congregate - rather, celebrate at home - ALONE - albeit virtually with family and friends. There's been news reports of Ministers continuing to hold regular services in deliberate defiance of common sense - inspite of the strong suggestions to the contrary. Some of these fools have now been levied fines and criminal charges. No doubt the congregation will take a collection for these zealots, at the next service. Unfortunately the need to be close to their God will see many getting much closer then they foresaw.
That's the problem when for example, you're dealing with 50 separate jurisdictions that need to exercise and prove their "independence". Another rational reason to have basic (at least) guidelines set out at a central gov't level.
There's some irony to all of this. Hypothetically IF, when this virus was first discovered to be of such concern, the planet had gone into a Lock-Down - we'd probably have had the issue under control with one month. Whimsical, I know ! We haven't learned from previous out-breaks and have consistently ignored the warnings from the worlds leading experts regarding their concerns/fears for future situations. We have certain political leaders who will continue to de-bunk everything, play no part in a pro-active approach, accept NO responsibility and continue to place blame on everyone else......at least 'til the Fall of this year !
So: Don't create a situation where enforcement of the rules have to be Ramadan your throat.
Stay at home.........It will "Pass Over" !
