Held in Peachland, B.C. Sept. 1/19


Lived in the Okanagan Valley all my life and have never seen another 1300. Thought I was "exclusive" !
Then see this original. Owner asks if I know "So and so"
"Nope.....why?"
"Well, he lives in Enderby " (15 minutes from me) and has a 1300 !"
"What?" !!!!
Then he asks again where I'm from - just to confirm.
"Do you know So and So?"
"Nope, why?"
"Well, he lives in Armstrong ( where I live )and he has two. One runs and the other is a parts bike and NO.....he doesn't sell parts!"
Then he says: "And I have a friend who's a helicopter pilot who lives in Vernon (15 minutes in the other direction) and he has one, too!

WTF ! Guess I'll have to get something more exclusive !

The traffic on this long weekend was thick as molasses! The usual 1 hr. + ride to Peachland took almost 1.5. This slowed me down speed wise but as a result I calculated I got 32.6MPG. as opposed to the 22mpg I normally get !

I prefer the "22"

Must have missed you at Peachland by a few minutes. HaHa. With my 3 kz 1300 south of Penticton, the bikes are becoming absolutely common.

The owner of the H1/ Mach3 has owned that bike from new. Having had one myself once upon a time, I was under the illusion that , that model was either red or white. But not so. And that colour is not black but more a really dark olive green. The words "Kawasaki" are in the usual place on the tank, written in black- the camera can't pick it up.

It was a good turn out for a first try- will have to get something ready for next year.
