Just thinking about all the 25 year olds or younger reading the article saying " I didn't know Kawasaki made a 6 cylinder." And what a year for the article to come out on your KZ1300 with the H2SX coming out. Old muscle and new muscle. Nice !!

I subscribe to PS and did see the Six Cylinder shootout posted for Mays edition (21st May issue methinks) - really interested to see the article.

The only obvious non standard parts are the silencers and mirrors. The deep sump was normally fitted under warranty. They did mention the sound once. Just to be fair they only had about a 4 hr window ( and it takes what seems an age to set the photos up) and at no point were they thrashed as the roads were not set out for that. I don't think they ever said iut would be a full test. If you wanted to be picky it's actually an A2 but I'm happy as it was a great experience and the riders were a great crack. If I'm being fair none of the bikes there are very practical and I would hesitate to call them sports bikes
