Was just browsing some of the really old threads and found several of interest. Also, we seem to gain new members (like ME!), and lose others, so maybe it's OK to resurrect these old threads to tie everybody together.

Anyway, here's my ugly mug with my little fur-gurl. Now you can see why my username, too! She and I do about 4000 miles a year on the trikes.

Old threads never die they just sit there and await resurrection. You've done a fine job with this one and with that trike as well. Do you weld or braze your own frames? Does the Fur-Gurl ride or run along side?

Well, not to side-step this thread, but to answer your questions.

This particular trike is not originally of my build, but it is highly modified for racing. I do weld my own frames using my proprietary Mig technique that allows me to skip the re-heat-treatment process. (Another long story!)

My little fur-gurl rides most of the time in her own trailer behind me. You can see the tongue of it right behind the rear wheel. The rear end of it is usually left open for her to jump in and out as she sees fit.

Here is a pic of me two of 1300's and my new toy I got for Christmas
