Although I have always wanted to visit Australia, you've just given me one more reason to like living in the U.S.! We basically just see a sidecar as a fairing, or saddlebags. Although not frequently, we do see a left-hander cruising along the highways, free and unrestricted!

After wrestling with this idea for several days I've decided not to purchase the bike and sidecar. I just have too much on the go. I have one bike that is not fully finished and another one that has to be taken apart and parted out. I can't afford the 3-4 days this will cost me in terms of time to get a trailer geared, drive up and drive back... along with all the expenses that it entails. Food, fuel, lodging, trailer hitch installation, rented trailer. I'm not going to jump on sidecar bike I know nothing about and attempt to ride it 14 hours. I could also get there and it could be a piece of crap mechanically and then I'd be stuck or wasted the trip. Just not a good idea.

I'm a little sad but I think its for the best.
