I can't remember the last time I saw a telephone booth in Ontario Canada. They took them all out since the advent of the cellphone. Ma Bell (our telephone company for like a thousand years) was loosing money on them, so they're all gone now. Another piece of history our grand kids may not ever know. I'm just waiting for my implant chip so I don't have to carry around the cellphone anymore. The wife already knows what I'm thinking all the time. I guess everybody else needs to know as well.

Hi Folks,
Last week was pretty busy for me. Every year some bicycle organization holds a professional series of road races here in Bend. They call it the Cascade Cycling Classic. For the last five years I've been invited to ride with the local Police Traffic Team as a traffic marshal. It's a lot of fun, we stay ahead of the cyclists to close the road and push the oncoming traffic to the shoulder till the racers past by.
I'm not much of a photographer and all I have to show you are some shots I took with my cell phone. Also while I did ride a six it wasn't my 13. Sorry!

Marshaling that race has become the highlight of my summers. Now that it's past I'll need to adjust to more mundane matters.
