Yup! Sooooo glad! I asked them if I could go home at night, but they just didn't get it! They thought they needed to watch me 24/7. Geeze, what was I gonna do, die on them? They wouldn't even let me have my laptop. What did they think I was gonna do, watch some streaming porn?

On March 23rd I go right back in, though, to get my new ball-joint installed on the left side! (I sure hope they use a Moog and not some Chinese brand!) Should be released in just a couple of days following that one, so I won't be missing so long this time.

Make sure you get the permanently lubed one. That way the grease fitting won't get hung up in your underwear.

Well, I got my left "swing-arm" bearing replaced (left hip). NOT a fun experience! Getting tired of spending so much time in the hospital. Surgery went well, but after-care sucked. Almost ready to try walking again without crutches.

Haven't been able to touch my Hondasaki drive project now for over a month. And my poor bike just sits there, getting an ocassional start up.

I have a medical question for any of you who have had a hip replaced. What restrictions did your doctor place on using it? I'm talking about permanent restrictions. My surgeon said that after about a year there are no restrictions, but a couple of other doctors said that I can't bend past a 90 degree forever. What's been your experience with your replacement?
