This is great news.............& a great feeling when it all happens !
Its worth mentioning PLUGS & PLUG GAPS can have a massive effect on the running of your 1300.
I find with 1300s with more than 30k miles its worth running a slightly hotter plug BPR5ES rather than BPR6ES. I ONLY use the original NGK plugs as have tried many others & find them to be best.
This will help burn any excess oil away at lower revs.
I also find it is always best to have the gap at the larger end of the recommended K Manual tolerance than the middle or lower end as a smaller gap will foul up easier & prevent spark.
Try this with your own Z1300. Gap to small end of tolerance & run the bike, then remove the plugs & increase gap to larger end of tolerance & run...........you maybe surprised how different it is, especially if you are still running old type coils & ballast resistor !
