ZN1300 Voyager

In 1983 Kawasaki introduced the ZN1300-A1 Voyager. This was a fully dressed tourer aimed at the growing American market. It was fitted with every conceivable extra and was often referred to as a 'car without doors'!

1984 ZN1300-A2 STARTING FRAME NUMBER:

1985 ZN1300-A3 STARTING FRAME NUMBER:

1987 ZN1300-A5 STARTING FRAME NUMBER:

1988 ZN1300-A6 STARTING FRAME NUMBER:

Kawasaki eventually replaced the ZN1300 with the 1200cc four cylinder Voyager which was lighter and better

As far as the manual goes, there is an electronic copy of the ZN Manual on the Home page of this site available to members for downloading.

See pic for location. The manual doesn't say where it is, just the pic. The wiring feeding the sensor is 1 blue wire with red stripe and 1 blue wire.

On the ZG the air temp sensor is attached to the side of the airbox, so I would imagine it would be the same with the ZN Voyager.

Good news, yes keep us posted. Yes, the pics in the gallery are member's bikes. Some spares are still available from Kawasaki dealers, otherwise it's a search on Ebay for 2nd hand stuff & asking on internet forums such as this.
