I did not review all of them yet but.

It would need to be tested on an old composite float to see if the SIG (Dope) did not eat or react with our OEM float material.

Seems like a good idea. Another test would be longevity, does the SIG product hold up over time. This ethanol is some pretty wicked stuff. Sure wish we could drum these Environmentalists out on a rail.

I agree some testing would be in order. When I read though those forums it looked like the SIG dope stuff was specifically for providing the floats with some ethanol protection. Since those cork floats stand up to the fuel but tend to degrade when exposed to the ethanol...
If I have to take my carbs back apart soon I'll have to try it out lol.
