Viton would be the first choice and a standard O-ring 2nd but as "hillsy" points out the o-ring should not come in contact with fuel. About 2 years I covered this, indicating that I made some "Temporary" seals from 1/8" silicone tubing. They worked so well I left them in my carbs and they are still soft and viable and I personally believe they seal better. Since then I made a cutter to produce 6 at a time. Something to consider, perhaps.

Hmmmmmmmmmm Had a piece of 1/8" silcone hose laying around. Can I guess you also have R/C models as well? (fuel line)

That would be correct. Last one built was a "Yellow Aircraft Spitfire MK 14" . 88" span, 29 lbs., 4.9 hp. Completely detailed - I stopped counting "rivets" after 4,000 and that was just on the top of the wing ! Taxi and ground trials but never been in the air. Started skydiving 17 years ago when I should have had the plane out, and it's been in a shipping crate ever since ! For sale if you've got some ca$h ! Cheaper then a "good' 1300, however !

cheers.
