Whilst I wish you well with your Volvo project, I’m sure a lot of us will be really sorry that the sale of your 1300 would mean the end of a great entertaining and informative series of posts from you.

I bought a complete LS2 engine for it, and selling this would allow me to fund that project in one fell swoop.

What do you all think would be a fair price? Maybe I'll just list it on Bring A Trailer and see what happens.

Man if I could only get a trailer there, just a bit too far away.
I had the same model but I am trying to get a fuel injected model going.

Enjoy the Volvo project

Well, the 1300 is sold and on it's way to it's new home in Florida.

It was a hell of a machine, and I'll never find another one as nice/original as this one was. Oh well, on to the CBX now I guess, in tandem with the Volvo.

Since I'm sure people are curious, this bike sold for $8,000.

Well congrats on selling your bike if that's what you wanted to do. Hopefully in time you will find another KZ1300 to rebuild and we can enjoy watching you put another one together. I hope you don't become a stranger to the site.

Good luck with the Volvo project.

Yeah, I'd like to have another one at some point. Maybe one that's not quite as nice/original so I don't feel so bad about making it mine.

You certainly did yourself proud with that rebuild. There's a lot of talent in those hands of yours and I truly hope you find another KZ1300 to work your magic on. In the meantime, live well and enjoy the kids while they are still young. And don't be a stranger !!
Cheers,
