Greetings From Missouri!

Hi, guys! I bought an '80 B2 Touring model with 35K miles last fall for $1500. I haven't ridden it much so far, but I already love it. My previous bike was a '95 KZ1000P police bike, and it made me fall in love with big Kawasakis When I get the KZ1300 back from the shop (tuneup) I'm going to start painting it white -- I can't deal with those vintage subdued colors and old-school graphics!
I'm a 60-year-old retired military guy -- lifelong motorcyclist and vintage Japanese bike nut, but new to big Kawasakis and highway bikes.
Glad to see the Forum back, and better than ever!

Welcome and greetings from Switzerland. 1500 Usd is, considered the local pricing, a very very good price.
I would love to the pictures of it once you have painted it white, guess you wan to copy the police-style of the KZ1000 which will be very interesting to see.
regards,
Holger

Switzerland is the "old country" for me -- my ancestors are from Planalp ob Brienz, accessible only by cog railway. Planalp actually is my last name.
I thought $1500 was a good deal. Other than being incredibly ugly, the bike seems to be in good order. You're right, I'm thinking about creating a kind of Mad Max-inspired "fantasy police bike" by painting my B2 white.
