Hi guys and thanks for adding me to the site.
I’ve been into Z13’s for a long time and foolishly sold my last one in 2007. Just got a 79 A1 and am currently working my way through the usual carb woes

Hoping you get your carb issues resolved , Paul. You will find a wealth of information on this site that could help you in that aim.
Please post some photos of your 1300 when you have time, and tell us the story of your interest in the bike.

Thanks for the warm welcome, this bike is my second 13 after stupidly selling my last one in 2008 (I think) I’ve had a few bikes in between including the one I sold to fund my Z13 which was a Suzuki Katana 1100. The Z was bought from a guy who had started restoring her and given up when he struggled with the carbs. I’m going through the pain of sorting them out now lol. She’s in really good shape with the frame freshly powder coated and the tinware painted in the beautiful dark green Kawa colour. The only things I plan to change are the original coils and ballast resistor plus the awful seat and Jama exhaust system. Looking forward to the nice weather so I can get out on her.
