    Hi Tony, welcome.
Thats a nice project you have there, these wonderful machines have to be kept alive, so full respect to you. I have a stripped voyager myself, and I can tell you that you havnt made a mistake scrapping the fairing. You will know how heavy it is, and you can do without the equivalent of 2 Ford Mondeo's hanging off the front of your bike. It will handle much better but oddly the mpg on mine remained the same (baaaaad).

Thanks guys, I'll probably move this over to the build section so I can keep yall up to date over there. By the way what do yall usually get for mpg on these big behemoths?

    Hi Tony,
Once I got the fuel level sorted out in the float bowls I started seeing 40 MPG.
Regards
Bill
