I want to ask a favour .... ???

You guys with your rusted out old seat pans need to stop by an auto body shop and ask what they can do with it and how much. I just saw a 1940 Ford hood that I would have scrapped get rebuilt by a body shop and about 5 hours labor replaced all the bad metal and then they worked their magic. It got painted Gloss black which is the worst color to show imperfections and I'm telling you it looked drop dead gorgeous.

I've got 2 1300's, one is a parts bike, one is my daily rider, and one seat between the two of them, so that's why i'd like an extra seat, get one done up with new foam, cover and strap, and then swap seats over, then have the one I have on it now fixed at my leisure, but I will wait and find another around the world somewhere that will post to Australia, or maybe bite the bullet and get a base from Germany even though it's probably worth more weight for weight than gold , cheers
