My side-stand bent beyond acceptable within the first two years. It looked like it was off a H.D. !
I never considered a cold-bend. It's a good sized chunk of iron ! In the vice - heat with O./A over most of it's length and it returned to strait VERY EASILY ! I let it cool on it's own !
Still strait !
