Correction - Kitchener. Outside Vancouver is a few cents less. Just today I paid on average $2.80 a gallon in the US. That's USD and a gallon is roughly 3.35 liters?

Interesting to see how costs differ for gas and insurance: here in the UK price for a litre of unleaded is approx $1.50 US - about $7 for an imperial gallon.
However, in "Rip Off Britain" Classic bike insurance is one of the very few things that is actually good value: I did not realise how expensive bike insurance was in the US & Canada - over here anything over 20 years is deemed a clsssic bike for insurance purposes: I currently have my Z1300, Z900, Suzuki RG400 & GT750 and a Yam RD350 on a classic unlimeted mile policy, with breakdown insurance for approx £240 GBP / $325 USD per annum.
Additional bonus is that the Govt exempted anything over 40 years for Road Tax / annual licence so when you renew the annual road fund licence you are charged £0.00 - puts a smile on my face everytime
