Hello all, I've just joined the website and forum so 'Greetings' from SOCAL.
I've just 'shaken-hands' on a nice'n'clean original (California) healthy 1979' KZ1300 A1.
I'll post further pics next week as the bike is still with its prior owner who's a friend
The only issue is that its got an albeit excellent condition aftermarket seat (SaddleMan type of king&queen) and missing original.
(Could I use that seat as a base perhaps I wonder?)
So are there any OEM seats, or steel pans up for grabs for a 1979 A1 perhaps?
I've seen the very nice looking examples from Bob in the UK on Ebay, and not teh below posistve feedbac, but am apprehensive to buy a seat pan being made from GRP on a very original bike!
Any advise please, or if you know of a seat up for grabs perhaps?
Thanks in advance.
