glad you got it sorted.

On my bike there are a pair of black and white leads with bullet connectors under the tank near the front on the left hand side.

I never found any wires to connect my clutch switch, not that I looked too hard, I just wanted the switch to fill the hole in the lever and to make the bike look original, will look closer next time I have the tank off, same as the oil level sensor, I have the sensor, motor has the later model sump, but no wire to plug it into, early model harness I guess, but I still have the wire going nowhere, cheers

after tuesday even the calendar goes WTF

:woohoo: Another mystery solved. Have been rechecking the connectors where I would have expected to see the two black/white wires for the clutch cut out to be.
Found that someone at some stage has cut them both off and spliced them together and bound them back into the main wiring loom with tape.
Obviously whoever had the bike previously didn't like having to pull the clutch lever in every time the bike was started.
Might leave it like yours Pete, have the switch in with wires leading to nowhere.

Not much left to do now.

Have to get an exhaust, rear shocks, caps and retainers for the coils, leads. Then it's all go.........hopefully
