Starter Motor destroyed itself today !!!!!!!!!! was created by Tonto
Today I was planning to go for a blast in the sunshine on my Z13, but on pressing the starter was met by dead silence; on further investigation I discovered this
I think I can guess why it would not start

Hey Tonto,
Sorry about your starter.
Is that a KZ1000 and a Suzuki 750 Waterbuffalo in the back ground?
Bill

Bill, hi
You've got good eyesight
It's a Z900A4 and a Water Buffalo: had them both for quite a few years.
I still really enjoy riding them.
Cheers Tim

I wonder if your starter clutch wasn't slipping after starting?

I really like your KZ900. I love the strongly made engine of the Z1 / 900 / 1000, and that fabulous distinctive whistling noise they make.
Good luck with the 1300 starter repair.
