Key ideas
4 years 4 months ago - 4 years 4 months ago
I have a newly cut key that I would like to get to look like an original z1300 key.
Options...
1. 3d print.... but that stuff is beyond me.
2. Resin cast using mould from original and add some cut vinyl lettering under a thin coat of clear resin.
3. Using TIG welder with very small tungsten, micro weld/ braze cut off old key to new.
4. Find a new blank
5 :S
Ideas welcome
Anyone got any spare genuine keys ??

It is the black plastic part in the upper key that I need to graft to the all metal key.
Unless someone happens to have an original blank

So, why wouldn't you just buy the blank from EBay and have it cut to what you need?
