Hope this helps.

I can confirm that, when rebuilding mine the yellow three wires went straight into the regulator. This was the instruction on my new Shindengen.

The wiring diagram shows the sub R/R's connector setup is different. The sub R/R has a connector on the body of the RR itself unlike the main R/R which has two pigtails (I've verified the sub R/R connector is clean and in good shape. From the connector at the sub R/R body there's a pigtail that goes to the stator connector (which I assume is a 4 pin connector similar to the main stator connector) - that's the one I can't locate.

Good day Bucko,

I also have the ZN1300, my electrical system is completely redone
as much as I remember this connector is under the left side cover by the starter relay , maybe need to remove the seat but at the same area.
I can check later when I get home as I still have the original harness and will confirm

OK, Just confirmed
the main stator connector is under the right side cover by the fuel pump
the sub stator connector is under the left side cover by the starter relay, there is a small bracket with two relays and the starter relay
I believe is on the same bracket or behind it

3 pin connector for the sub stator and not 4 like the main

Thanks Bar. Will check that out. It's the 3 pin connector that is part of the reason why I couldn't find it. Is the "small bracket with two relays " the bracket that is screwed into the frame and also holds the sub R/R?
