I thought it was to show the diodes and the direction the current is flowing.
When referring to DIODES - that's correct !
In this case - it simply indicates a Bullet connector - Male/Female

If you look at the picture attached there are two symbols circled. The diodes are circled and marked diodes. The other ones aren't diodes. I thought they were at first but then it wouldn't make sense electrically to block the current from that direction. Then I saw the correct diode symbol and knew it was something else.
