You may have just jinxed it for the Canadians Bucko. We seem to be getting more and more Chinese junk everyday. Trump will take care of that with his new tariffs.

just a follow up on the latest on this here 1300.
the matter is now settled....i think.
after riding the bike without any problems for about 370 kms i have come to the realisation that the ngk's were the problem.
since i put the densos on this bike, it has never missed a beat firing on all cylinders al all times and with plenty of power to boot.
again id like to thank everyone for their input regarding this issue.
some of which may not have applied but nevertheless, learnt much from it...

I can also confirm that the NKG plugs are not reliable anymore. I have used Denso plugs on both my -82 A4s with excellent results.

Are NGK plugs now manufactured with lower spec or quality or is this an other issue relating to modern fuel mixes?

Some reports of Chinese knock offs coming out. I personally use NGK iridium s and have had no complaints to date.
