Fuel starved?

Yes I thought it was fuel starvation too on mine, as the engine would cut out after about 10 mins. of running, then if I let it sit for 10 mins. it would start right up on the button & run fine. Turned out it was the coils breaking down with heat, then when they'd cooled some they'd work again. The coils I'm talking about are the HT ones under the tank, are yours still original?Scorpio2016 wrote: Phil: I never thought about the coils because it feels like a fuel starvation issue, but I guess I'll have to check those next. Here's my bike:
It starts and runs like this with no issues until I get far enough from the house that I can't walk it back. It started last Fall and now I want it running right.
