Well spotted that's exactly what it is in fact I think it has come from a voyager as I found out when I went to connect the tachometer I had to set up an electronic one. My friend replaced the engine on his bike about 25 years ago and I got the bike from him after it was lying for 20 years with engine damage and a q plate, I also got a Canadian frame which I have used so I have based my bike on an A4 but the engine is different , doesn't bother me, I had one in 1986 and haven't ridden one since so it should be interesting. I am wondering how it will feel compared to my Rocket 3.

Didn't the Voyagers have different cam profiles compared to the KZ models, with the aim of improving the torque at low engine RPM? That being the case, it should be a joy to ride.

I hope everything is ok with you and the bike. I was looking forward to hearing how your newly restored 1300 performs!
