Fully agree with you re the weather, it has been sh1te for months here in darlest Lincolnshire: I risked a bimble last Wednesday, checked weather app on the phone, which tells me its gonna be dry and mainly sunny for three hours :- 45 minutes later returned home like a drowned rat, and my bike covered in road grimed:
Cheers Tim
Tim,
We have noticed in the North of England that NO weather station can even get close to any form of accurate forecast.
Its Tuesday morning at 8am now and I am watching BBC TV Weather Forecast which says its dry with cloud here in Northumberland.................yet I am looking out of the window in Northumberland at torrential rain...............they honestly dont have a clue.
Why bother giving any forecast if its nowhere near accurate or correct !!
If I was as bad at my job as they are with forecasts, I would be out of work, yet they get away with it.

Lare, Is that one of Ari’s exhaust systems? Is he enjoying retirement? Did he sell the tooling he used to make parts for the 1300?
When you go for a ride on your 1300 in Finland, do people show an interest in the bike, perhaps because they’ve never seen one before?

Hi, my exhaust is made by Ari. He is re-starting the production with his son in law. The tooling is still with him and we hope that the systems will be available again in the future.
The Z1300/KZ1300 is a very common bike in Finland, there are almost 500 pieces licensed for the road and we estimate that 800-900 project bikes are in garages waiting for restoration.
This is due to Mr. Arto Nyquist who stunted with the bike in the 80s and 90s. Take a look in YouTube, he is incredible.

Thank you for the interesting reply. That is good news about the possibility of Ari re-starting production.
Amazing to think there are so many 1300s in Finland.
