Thanks for the reply, Tonto. Seeing those pictures made me so envious! I’ve always admired the KZ / Z1000, and your photos have reminded me why. Are those the Italian mufflers? They look superb.
As for the CBX - it is astounding. Do you still own it?
It’s about 43 years since the CBX was unveiled, but still it is hugely impressive to see.

That CBX is drop dead gorgeous. Thanks I needed that. That's the color scheme of my KZ XIII. Hope to squirt it this year. Just got to finish off the rest of the S...t around here so I can refocus.

Jim, yes they are the "replica" pipes from Busso in Turin - I had previously seen some of their Z13 silencers and they were spot on. .
They supplied the complete system for an absolute bargain - delivered to my door for £560 GBP: including all taxes - I would struggle to ge a set re-chromed for that sum.
Re the CBX yes still have her - used her all last summer - try not to put too many miles on her as she only has a genuine 12k miles and she runs like a swiss watch: does not match the torque and sheer grunt of the Z13 but a bit more nimble and sounds amazing when yoi get above 6k rpm. Cant believe how bad the brakes are on the CBX, even with braided hoses and new pads, its a bit alarming  when compared to any "classic" ive owned.
Re Corvid19 - just heard John Travolta was hospitalised yesterday with suspected Coronavirus, lucky for him it turned out to be "Satuday Night Fever"
