Looks like I am not the only one trying to shift into #6. Glad to notice, guess it is just in the orgy of acceleration, engine singing its song and the euphoria to ride this beast.
I know several guys who have installed a reverse-gear, makes a lot of sense when you have a sidecar installed.

There is a man who does that in Germany, his name is Wilfried Buchsenschutz. He installs the reverse gear into the gearbox and it works via a solenoid. Many European sidecar riders have his reverse in their engines. You can mail him at: der6Zylinder@web.de

Yep, I also look for the elusive 6th gear: you would think such a torque laden engine would easilly cope with it: beggars belief that bikes like 1970's Yam RD350's and Kawa 500 triples had 6 speed boxes.
