2018 rally dates (Europe, continent)

Hi guys,

just got aware over the holiday about some dates I would like to share with you:

1)
10th - 13th of May: 25th Z1300 rally in FRANCE:
Taking place at Marina HOLYDER, lac du Der, 11 presqu'îles de Rougemer, FR 51290 GIFFAUMONT-CHAMPAUBERT ( www.marina-holyder.com ), right on the shores of the lac de Der

2)
08th - 10th of June: 1st FINNISH Z1300 rally, near Ruovesi on the Haapasaari-Island ( www.haapasaari.fi/index.php?l=en ).
Close to Ruovesi, approx. 70 kms north of Tampere, 230 kms from Helsinki and 350 kms from Lappeenranta, about 2 kms from road 66 (!) on the Näsijärvi-lake.

3)
28th of June - 01st of July: 32nd DANISH Z1300 rally, in Stendislejren, about 220 kms north of the border between Danmark and Germany

4)
19th - 22nd of July: Z1300 rally in SWEDEN in Hjälmsjöviks Naturskola Örkelljunga, beds and place for your tent available, contact is P.andrea@hotmail.se

5)
17th - 19th of August: Z1300 rally in GERMANY, taking place at www.angerkrug.de/ (DE 37633 Dielmissen - south of Hannover)

Now you've got some planning - anyone going there ?

Definitely hoping to do French and German rallies. Would like to get to Denmark too but might be a rally too far as saving to tour New Zealand next Xmas. :whistle:
Should also say would very much like to do the Finnish event but that will probably have to wait till 2019

You are going to love touring NZ the south island is fantastic with the mountains and lakes if you need any help or any ideas where to ride i am happy to help i do a lot of riding here . I am shipping my bike the north America in may and flying there in July for a 7 week tour of USA and Canada cant wait .I have never been to Europe but would love to buy z1300 over there and ride it to the rally's in Finland and Germany

I have heard that New Zealand is a beautiful country. Also, that it is largely unspoilt, and in some ways resembles Great Britain, in the days before our country was wrecked forever by spineless politicians who totally disregard the population's concerns. If I was twenty years younger, I would be looking at emigrating to New Zealand, or perhaps Canada, assuming I could offer something to either of those countries.

Jim, I am sure you have something to offer any country no matter where you go.

Kiwi: If you plan on heading to NS, let me know. I'd be happy to host you for a few days, give you a tour, and recommend some really scenic places to see like the Cape Breton Highlands. Beautiful ride!

Thanks but i am not going that way this time but i am planning another trip in 2020 you never know maybe then .I am more than happy to show people around where i live as well . Jim we are not with out our troubles over here with intensive dairy farms we are paying the price with bad water quality in some places with rivers at record lows .
