How ABSOLUTELY NOT to conduct a speed trap.
11 years 6 days ago - 11 years 6 days ago
Get a look at this video below of a UK Traffic Officer conducting a speed trap.
Please take into account this was in FOG with very limited visibility & he walked out directly in front of a moving motorcycle with traffic coming towards him on the opposite side of the road, leaving the bike nowhere to go...........or the bike behind him........& caused a nasty accident.
Just unbelievable stupidity.
I would very much like to know if this officer was reprimanded for his stupidity ???

Some years ago an employee of our state parks department found that someone had vandalized a padlock securing a paystation for park users in Terrebonne, OR. He/she fetched up an acetylene torch and five gallons of water just to be safe and cut off the lock. In the process he burned up the WHOLE park. When asked who he/she was and what punishment was doled out the parks department refused comment. To this day the whole matter is still a closely guarded secret.

First thing I think of is why would you walk out and stop some one . Then why the hell would you have a trap set up in the fog. Then why are you going 100k in the fog. And me I would have kept going till I could pull to the side or just goosed it and gave him the thumps up german style between my peace sign.

Phil,
Thanks for letting us know that..........but that copper was still bang out of order.......staged or not !!
Just as well the second bike was not a Z1300 with standard brakes..........he would still be trying to stop now & would have flattened everything in his path !!
