Cracked float bowl tube

This looks like it's been 'sleeved' and the sleeve is cracked too.
Use it or toss it?
If toss, how best to remove the sleeve?

I measured 4.28 but the crack has expanded the OD - so this may not be sleeved yet?
Pic of a different carb - which makes me think the 'bad' carb does have the restrictor?

could you silver solder it using a small clamp to bring the OD back down close to the OD of the tube while soldering it?

"Stick with the Original Plan" and don't over-think the simplest of things ! ! There is a reason: You will NEVER get ANY solder to flow into the crack, regardless of how much Flux or heat is used.
The length of the "tube-sleeve" will depend on the length of the crack......obviously.
Is It Sleeved? If you can see a "crack".......it's NOT sleeved.
