anyone know more about the carbs on this bike?

I once saw a company on the web many years ago who made a set of 6 carbs (like a CBX1000) specially for a Z1300 KZ1300. They were a Japanese performance company.

As I recall they looked like the ones in your image.

The site was all in Japanese text............but the price was in $ & I seem to remember it being best part of $2000.

They look a lot like Mikuni FCR series flat slide carburetors. I have a pair of those on my Bonneville. I have no idea who put that set in the picture together though.

This site shows that they have an FCR 33mm kit for KZ / Z1300s.

You can still buy them -at an over priced $2100 or so.
But 6 carbs .............. that was a bone of contention on the CBX.
But these guys have some nice stuff.

$2100 is a lot. But then again the pair for my Bonneville cost me a grand anyway. :lol:

However, I'll be sticking with my stock Kawasaki carbs.

A bank of 6 flat slides would be pretty fun though.



Tuning a pair of these was fiddly enough, I think a bank of six would have me pulling my hair out. :blink:
