I bet you that if you sucked on the end of the vacuum scale with your mouth, you could draw down to 7" HG.
That's gotta be some kind of a metaphor cuz I tried ......and ended up with two ear-drums ringing like after a 21K HALO jump and both
:woohoo: "nuts" :woohoo: trying to swap places with my kidneys ! :pinch:
"Anything for the Forum"
Now going to shove the air-nozzle up my ass and try to blow everything back into place

LMAO !!! You're a trooper Scotch. But how much did you draw down?? Better be more than 3"HG . Wouldn't want to get beat out by a Kawasucki.

Another option which looks more Professional/Factory(?) Adaptions to the principle idea are encouraged so long as a full 7/32" (I/S dia. of the "1/8" brass tube) opening is provided and centered in the air port.
3/16" X 1/2" aluminum Pop-Rivet swedged with a 1/8" pin-punch with a piece of 1/8" brass tube pressed into it. A die is run-down the rivet to displace some material for a snug fit into the air-port. Not much more then scoring the rivet - Not looking for, nor want a full-thread depth !
Push the restrictor into the air-port A drop of thread-lock may be used if your comfort level requires it.

Makes sense! There is a saying 'blood is thicker than Locktite'. Wait a sec.... I think I got something mixed up. Anyway, screw the details. Blood is thicker among bike brothers, and even thicker among KZ1300 bros. With negligible exceptions there to always confirm the rule!
