the two tees plan doesnt work because the crossover pipe is much longer (50 mm)
there is also a kz650/1000 for vm26 tee that looks the same in the picture, and has the right lenght, 39mm
I have a set of vm26 here and it looks the same, but the inlet is much smaller.
planning on writing the seller a mail.
maybe he has the rights ones, or maybe, if more are interested he can make the correct ones, he does so (or has them done)
for a few other models, all of them bored out a bit larger than stock. all about $17 for the tees and $12 for the pipes.
I have picked up a rusty spare set of sixer carbs for rebuilding later, maybe I can send the tee and pipe and he
can make spare ones for us all..

kawboy, the guy from your first link is the one I'm planning on asking if he can supply us.. didn't get to it yet
I'm at the point of joining the 3 carbs together.. the outer rings are still a tight fit, the inner ones are loose..
just wondering, is there any kind of tape I can wrap around the inner ring to seal it that does not dissolve?
did all you carb rebuilders just put in the old tee and pipe as they were?

One good tight seal ring should be ample. the carbs are tied together with the cross bar at the bottom so there should be no movement between them to cause any issue.
I would still persue getting a machined tee and flow through tube with replaceable O-rings just as a good update. Not sure how well the original tee and flow tube is managing the ethanol additive in our "new" gasoline. Viton 75 o-rings for sure.
