Bike colour and chroming

Can anyone tell me if the colour of my KZ1300 and the chromed engine casings is an original Kawasaki option?
I have read that chromed casings were supplied on later models than mine, assuming that mine is indeed a circa 1980 model.
I have not managed to see another bike of that colour, yet.
The bike was imported in to South Africa, so anything could of happened over time.
The frame number is KZT30A009328 and the paperwork states it was first registered in Jan 1980.
Thks
Bruce

In Spain there is one with that color for sale.

Registered for the first time in Germany, imported to Spain in the early '90s.

I was following the trail of that motorcycle with the intention of buying it, I lost track of it and in the meantime I bought the nightmare of a motorcycle that I have now.

I recently saw on a sales page that the bike is available again.

Damn my luck.
