I'll start on my end with one peculiar piece I noticed - this is to do with the front forks.
These are the lower fork legs in their original black paint from a early 1979 model. Two pinch bolts per side to hold the axle in place -per side- but even more interesting is size of the vane- strengthening beam /whatever on the leading edge of the fork.
Compare that to the bead blasted to natural colour of a bike only one year newer with one pinch bolt per side and a much smaller leading edge vane/ brace .

Well you live and learn: my early 79 A1 has the deep vane and twin pinch bolt set up, I never new that was varied on later models.
Re the link: it was useful to me as at the time, as it was the first source I found that identiifed engine / frame No.s, respective colours etc. (as Tyler posted) Also, in the UK Zed Power are probably the biggest classic Kwak parts supplier, so I could gauge spares availability for the Z13 compared to other bikes I've restored.
I know the guys that own and run Zed Power really well, so cant see it being a problem using their link: but looking at Tyler's text I think that about covers it.

About the same time as that front fork change, the swing arm pins changed as well.
Originals were threaded into their holder and held with a lock nut, later ones are simple pins that most 1300's have.
