Do you intend to leave the space before the rear-wheel empty ? I look at these pics with adimiration, however I see the large empty space which contrasts a lot with the rest so I thought it could be well, filled.

What do you think/ intend ?

What did you do to extend the drive shaft?
Cut to approximate, smash to fit!

I Cut the drive shaft and welded in a 8" section of DOM round stock. I used a sleeve to extend my Yamaha Maxim 650j drive shaft but the kz1300 is too heavy and I didn't want to take a chance on a sleeve drive shaft for it.
