Hello Rick,
Front - Bridgestone Battlax BT145. Not a bad tyre at all, have used a number of them over the years
Rear - IRC Road Winner 140/70. Never used or heard of this one before, in Zimbabwe, beggars can't be choosers, but at the price we pay for things over here, we should be lol
I used them with the Metzler ME88 on the back but they are no longer available on Oz so I went to a set of Pirelli Sport Demon and found them very good. Once they were worn out the bike was put away for work that need doing. I have also used the Sport Demon on both the K series BMWs I have.

Almost there! Just carrying out final touches. The new needles from Lauri look great. Managed to get matching model paint for the temp and fuel needles:)

So we fired her up and pot 1 & 2 idle circuits on the carb blocked !!! Bugger!!! ....and I put a lot of effort trying to clean those! Have since ordered the carb Cleaning Tool from Scotch, but not sure I will have it in time before my venture with my son on both 13's. So I have rebuilt another set. Fingers crossed gents.

Re: 1980 KZ
7 years 8 months agoI tried the Model Paint also on the temp and fuel needles, looked good to start with but after a year or so in the aussie sun they have faded again, the new speedo and tach needles are still a good colour.
