Hey,
I am not able to give you the dimensions you ask for but I have noticed on some of the OEM bike part sites, when you look up the exploded views ( find the part and number ) and check the part reference number out they sometimes give the dimensions, especially bearings and seals etc , so you might get it that way.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Hey Steve,

Pics like that hurt!!!!

Fortunately the case seems useable. Not sure about where the missing shavings went. Hope you found them on the filter.

Good Luck.

Yeh case is all good thank god just lapping the taper in a bit and she'll be going back together.
Bill do you like the coke can on the taper which spaced the roter out making the starter sproket just move where ever it wanted .I do hate people who dont know what there doing just imagine the rotor coming loose at say 6000 revs SCARY . it had just had an oil change but once its all bach together i'll warm her up and do oil and filter again (best time to do oil change is when it hot oil runs quicker bringing any rubbish with it .
